Why?

Since January 2007 Peter Sikking and me have been evaluating GIMP functionality in context of how well does it fit user scenarios created for GIMP after workplace observations and after defining its product vision. Evaluation of all core filters was sometimes dramatic experience, but on the other hand it lead to many important conclusions. So getting to the point, I wanted to collect all the images created during the evaluation when using different filters. It does not necessary mean that a particular filter can't do any better or worse. It's just some kind of spontaneous gallery that will help to know the general look and feel you can apply to your image using one of the filters.
